Metal Fans Thought Of The Band Before The Disease

Paul Zielbauer of the New York Times spoke with manager Dan DeVita for his thoughts on the band’s much talked about name since the bioterror attacks using anthrax last year. Dan joked, “To a metal fan or a music fan, the first thing they thought of was Anthrax, the band. It was almost like Beavis and Butthead: ‘Hey, dude, I was watching CNN and they said Anthrax, heh heh.'” has since removed the article.
