Megadeth Still Revving Up To Shriek Performance
Bob Gendron of the Chicago Tribune was on hand for Megadeth’s concert at the Riviera on Friday (November 19). Gendron writes, “Killing off any nostalgic preconceptions, Megadeth unleashed an array of new material that meshed with its teeth-gnashing classics.” He added, “Singing in bitter, vengeful tones, [frontman Dave] Mustaine menacingly growled lyrics that addressed religious wars, paranoia, corruption and personal trauma.” Chicagotribune.com has since removed the article.
