Marilyn Manson Not Guilty Of Battery reports that a Minnesota jury determined Monday (September 8) afternoon that did not commit battery when he rubbed his crotch against a security guard’s head at an October 2000 concert. David M. Diaz was working the front of the stage at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis when Manson allegedly grabbed his head and gyrated against it. Diaz filed a suit seeking $75,000 in damages, for charges including battery, emotional distress, mental anguish, and humiliation. The jury took three days to deliver the not-guilty verdict at the U.S. District Court in St. Paul.
