Matt Wesley of the Toronto Eye spoke with Bad Religion’s guitarist Greg Hetson on the heat the group gets being on a major label. Hetson said, “Majors get a bad rap in the punk scene. They aren’t as bad as everyone thinks, but they do have their disadvantages if you don’t fit in. Personnel come and go so quickly, and all the people that were big supporters of us at Atlantic lost their jobs. After that happened, they didn’t know what to do with the band. We had the distribution, but we weren’t reaching any potential new fans.”
