Love Music Hate Racism Concert Cancelled
The Love Music Hate Racism concert schedule for this Sunday has been cancelled because The Libertines felt unable to play without frontman Pete Doherty, who is in a clinic to battle his cocaine addiction. “The main headline act, The Libertines, have had to pull out of Sunday’s show due to Pete Doherty being in rehab in France,” organizers announced. “Until today the band and their management at Creation Poptones still felt that the band would be able to play. Unfortunately, Pete’s recovery has not progressed as quickly as hoped and the rest of the band are understandably unwilling to do any show without Pete.”
