Lots Of Balm, Little Bite In Toad The Wet Sprocket Reunion
Joan Anderman of the Boston Globe was at the Toad the Wet Sprocket show at Avalon on Saturday. Anderman said of the group no record contract, no new album, and no plans beyond the successful monthlong reunion tour: “This may be the perfect time for Toad’s reentry into the mainstream, where a breezy-pop renaissance is making stars of newcomers such as John Mayer and Norah Jones. Toad’s cache of mild-mannered hits would fit right in on an adult alternative playlist, and the group played them all.” Boston.com has since removed the article.
