Live Explain Unplugging In Jane’s Addiction Tour
Mark Brown of the Rocky Mountain News talked with Live’s guitarist Chad Taylor says about the band’s decision to drop the electric guitars and go acoustic after the opening night of the tour admitting, “We played the first show with Jane’s Addiction in Boston, electrically. Just given the air and the nature of the times right now, somehow it felt pompous to be onstage with electric instruments. So we decided to go for a more intimate vibe. We just felt it would be a better way to deliver the songs, a little more fitting.” Because the audience response was so positive, they’re planning the same format on their headlining tour.
