MuchNews spoke on the phone Tuesday with Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park about the band’s upcoming release of their re-mix album, ‘Reanimation.’ “We actually got together with some of our favourite artists, some of which people probably haven’t heard of, and completely disassembled the songs, re-wrote them,” he said. As for criticism tne band might be getting for doing a remix, he said, “I don’t expect everybody to like it. I know that a lot of people have a lot of questions about it because it is a remix type of thing, a reinterpretation of the original. They want to know why it’s coming out now; are we just trying to cash in on the original.” Those critical fans will have something brand new though come year’s end, when Linkin Park releases their follow-up to ‘Hybrid Theory’.
