Linkin Park Says It Has No Room For Egos

‘Meteora,’ Linkin Park’s follow-up to its ‘Hybrid Theory’ debut, has been sitting on the crest of Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart since its debut two weeks ago. “It was surprising to us that the new album took off like it did,” guitarist Brad Delson tells Scott Iwasaki of Deseret News. “But we had a good vibe going throughout the making of this album. We had more freedom because the record label (Warner Bros.) trusted us. We also listen to what people tell us. In the band, there isn’t any room for egos. We are honest with each other. If I write a song that doesn’t sound good, I expect the others to tell me. And likewise.”
