Life Inspires Lyrics For Hed PE’s Jared Gomes

Altsounds spoke with MCUD, aka Jared Gomes of Hed PE in a Q&A, asking the vocalist what’s usually the inspiration behind his lyrics. “Life. The music is mostly a reflection of my lifestyle, although I will sometimes take artistic license and just say things because they sound funny, or provocative, or just plain fit with the music,” the 46-year-old said. “But, in general, this music reflects what my interests are as an individual. And, I am part of a movement that is much bigger than myself.
