Lars Ulrich Stops By The Cane Show

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich called the Cane Show to talk about DFP 7-Tarium earlier this month. Lars said Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit can play as long as they want, and they also talked about Cabbie’s comments on the new album, which he called “the new kind of heavy.” He said they were 2-3 weeks from finishing the album. As for bands that put politics in their music, Lars said, “Don’t get me started.” But he did say “Just because you are a musician, doesn’t mean you should mouth off on any subject” and didn’t want Metallica to be a “soap box.” Lars was also full of praise for their new bassist Robert Trujillo. Krockradio.com has since removed the audio.
