Krist Novoselic Could Be Rehearsing For Wedding Bells

The Tacoma News Tribune reports former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic has applied for a marriage license through the Pierce County Auditor’s office on February 23rd. The female applicant is listed as 41-year-old artist Darbury Ayn Stenderu. The couple could not be reached for comment, and it was not clear whether the wedding had taken place. The soonest the couple could have legally married, according to the application, was February 26th. “I was surprised that he actually came here,” Clerk Stacy MacFarlane said. “I didn’t even say anything to him because I didn’t want to be one of those fans. … It’s my job to be professional and not ask too much.” Laughing, she added, “But I wanted to. … They seemed very nice. … They actually looked nice together.”
