Korn Member Leaving Band For Religion

The Associated Press reports Korn founding member Brian ‘Head’ Welch is leaving the band to focus on his religious beliefs. “Korn has parted ways with guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch, who has chosen Jesus Christ as his savior, and will be dedicating his musical pursuits to that end,” said a statement posted Tuesday on Korn’s Web site. Welch told The Bakersfield Californian that his decision might be surprising to some. “A lot of people think I’m crazy. I don’t care.”

Hi Brian, I just finished reading your book! So awesome. I have a 16 year old son. His dad and I had to make a tough decision and send him to a boarding school last year. He was at Future Men, a Chritian school for boys. He is home now and he told me learned of your book at the school. He is fighting his walk with Jesus while also trying to find answers to why he should commit his life to him. Do you have any books you would recommend for him? He really has no real Christian mentors other than his Dad. He is adopted and has some real anger issues. We are trying so hard to really relate to him, it is a daily struggle for all of us. My fear is someday he will turn to drugs. We are in prayer for Zack daily. Please pray for him and let me know if you have any spiritual suggestions. Thank you for your beautiful book. ANGIE
