Kid Rock’s ’69 Dodge Charger is featured in the Rock Star Rides feature in the new Rolling Stone magazine. It’s not just any Charger, but the General Lee from ‘The Dukes Of Hazard.’ “I used to watch that show,” he said. “Damn right. The General Lee was the coolest car of all the seventies TV shows. I was always looking for one, but they didn’t make many. I found this from some guy in Roseville. It’s kind of fu**ed up that it was right here in Michigan. The guy I bought it from is a complete ‘Dukes of Hazzard’ nut. I think I paid around thirty grand. What’s cool is that it came straight off the production line in Hamtramck, Michigan, in ’69. It’s signed inside the trunk by the star, John Schneider.”
