Kid Rock & Jason Newsted Guest On Gov’t Mule Show

Robin A. Rothman of Rolling Stone was at New York’s Beacon Theater on Wednesday where Gov’t Mule was joined onstage by Kid Rock and ex Metallica now Echobrain bassist Jason Newsted, who joked before the show, “I’m gonna be the bass player in the Mule. Nobody else knows yet. They don’t even know yet. I’ll tell them later.” The did know and he’ll be playing the next four shows with the band as well. The surprise though was Kid Rock joining the band as they belted out Marshall Tucker Band’s ‘Can’t You See.’ Rollingstone.com has since removed the article.
