Kid Rock Doesn’t Cater To Radio On New Album

Dan Aquilante of the New York Post caught up with Kid Rock for a Q&A as the singer is promoting his new self-titled album. Asked whether making a record that isn’t just one kind of music makes it difficult to get radio play, Kid responded, “This is the stuff I love and the music I wanna play. I’m on a few classic rock stations and a few country stations, but I’m not cool enough for a lot of stations… or maybe they’re just threatened by me.”
