Marc S. Malkin of New York Magazine reports Kid Rock had a tough time getting around in the Hamptons over the Labor Day weekend. Rock stayed at Lava Records honcho Lee Trink’s Southampton home and couldn’t find a limo to take him to Atlantic Records boss Ahmet Ertegun’s place. Couldn’t find a town car either… so he settled for a cab. Rock had the same problem later trying to get to the Stuff magazine’s party at the PlayStation 2 house in Sag Harbor. After looking for a ride for an hour, even a cab wasn’t available. A staffer working the party was sent to pick him up in a pickup truck.
