Craig Rosen of Launch.com spoke with Kid Rock and asked about he and his bandmates getting tattoos to honor Joe C who passed away in 2000. Rock said, “Yeah, it was just something to keep on our arms close to our hearts. He’ll always be with us. He’s part of this band, and he always will be. So we just wanted to do something cool. I don’t know, maybe it was something to make us feel better. It just seemed like the right thing to do at the time.” Rock also says he’ll never be replaced. Read the entire transcript here.
