Scott Harrell of the Weekly Planet caught up with Sense Field guitarist Chris Evenson who spoke of the band’s troubles with labels that have seen them bounced around until this year’s release ‘Living Outside’. While their ‘Under The Radar’ debut was never released, a surprising number of fans managed to get a hold of a copy and often request tunes when the band is on the road. “That’s always neat,” Evenson muses. “And people invariably want to hear the original versions, because those are the versions that they’ve been listening to for so long. I never realized how many people have heard that record — for us, it was like the record didn’t come out, so it doesn’t exist. I remember people referring to them as ‘the Warner demos.’ They were only the most expensive demos ever made.”
