Jay-Z and Linkin Park took home the Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at Wednesday night’s awards for ‘Numb/Encore’. “The reason – so the reason I put the award in this man’s hands MTV came to Jay and they said who do you want to do an album with,” Mike Shinoda explained. “And he said us. And if he didn’t say us, we would not be standing up here right now. So thank you to Jay-Z and MTV, thank you Machine Shop, thank you to everybody that, um, threw their vote our way and to our fans. And one more thing, everybody in management and legal teams that made this record possibly because it was a nightmare. Thank you, guys.”
