James Hetfield Out Of Rehab
Metallica singer James Hetfield left the rehabilitation facility where he had been receiving treatment for alcohol abuse since July, a spokeswoman for the hard rock band said Tuesday. James said in a statement on the band’s official website, “My rough road has become smoother reading the show of support from the friends I’ve met through Metallica. Thank you. They move me deeply. My music and lyrics have always been therapy for me. Without this God-given gift I don’t know where I’d be. And now I TRULY feel the impact and connection it’s made with others.” No word yet on James’ plans next nor when the band will start on their next album.
