Jack White Says It Was Nice To Finally Meet The Strokes

Radio 1 was on hand at The Strokes and White Stripes sold-out gig at the historic Radio City Music Hall. Jack White explained how the two bands hooked up for this short tour saying, “We were hanging out with The Strokes in Leeds… we came to see their show while we were in England ’cause we hadn’t seen them yet. We just got on really well with them and it was their idea you know… ‘let’s do some shows together’. Try not to exploit it very much, let’s just do it ’cause it’s a cool thing to do.”
