Isaac Guzman of The New York Daily News reviewed the Ozzfest concert at Long Island’s Jones Beach Theater on Wednesday night (July 14). Guzman writes, “While past [Ozzfest] gatherings have focused on cutting-edge, hard rock bands such as System of a Down and Korn, this concert – capped by a tremendous thunderstorm – was a decidedly old-school affair. Collectively, the three headliners – Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Slayer – have been performing for nearly 90 years, and they’re three of the metal world’s most iconic acts. Oddly, the oldest, Black Sabbath, sounded the least dated.” The full article at nydailynews.com has since been removed or relocated.
