Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore tells CDNow.com that getting support from Interscope on their new ‘Murray Street’ album isn’t easy. “We don’t lose money, [but] just the fact that they know we’re recognized as a positive model for a lot of bands but we don’t sell records,” he said. “And that’s what they do, they sell records. And right now the only thing on the mind of Interscope is the new Eminem record and that’s beyond any notion of competitiveness [we have].”
