Hagar Says Van Halen ‘Truthfully Screwed Me Over’
Curtis Ross of The Tampa Tribune spoke to Sammy Hagar who still has a beef with his old bandmates. “I’ve still got a bad taste in my mouth” from leaving Van Halen, Hagar says. “Those guys truthfully screwed me over. And they even screwed Dave over, and I would never side with Dave on anything. Eddie and Alex … I don’t know what’s wrong with them, but they’re on a big giant ego power trip.”
