Gwen Stefani Shares Condolences For Left Eye

No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani phoned in to MTV’s Total Request Live on Friday where she started out by sharing her condolences for fellow musician Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes who died Thursday in a car accident in Honduras. Gwen said on behalf of her and her No Doubt bandmates, “We just want to send our love out to Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes’ family and T-Boz and Chilli. We are really saddened to hear that she was in an accident. It is just really sad and depressing and we are sending our love and first I want to start with this.” Gwen later talked about her recent illness that forced the band to cancel shows in Cleveland and Pittsburgh saying, “I was really sick about two weeks and just started to feel better. We are really excited about playin’ tonight because we had a couple of days off so we can to get these kids down and rock them out.”
