Guns N’ Roses Scorches Small Crowd

Gene Stout of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reviewed the Guns N’ Roses tour opener in Tacoma on Friday. Stout said, “A lot has changed in rock ‘n’ roll since Guns N’ Roses was founded in the ’80s — and a lot has remained the same.” Stout added, “Rose’s new band did a terrific job of recreating the classic GN’R sound.” Stout also talked about the poor turnout, where only about 1/2 the Tacoma Dome was filled and the crowd was subdued.
