Guns N’ Roses Far Off Target In Minneapolis
John Nemo of the Pioneer Press reviewed the Guns N’ Roses show at the Target Center on Thursday, where 9,000 fans saw “the equivalent of Michael Jordan missing a layup, Mario Lemieux missing a breakaway or Barry Bonds missing a fastball.” Nemo says the group was “painful to witness” and added, “It was as if I were somehow letting down Duff, Slash, Izzy and the rest of the original group by watching these yahoos wearing KFC buckets and weird makeup playing GNR classics like some kind of sleazy lounge band.” Twincities.com has since removed the article.
