Green Day Wins Best Rock Video

Green Day took hom Best Rock Video at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards for ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’. Upon accepting the honor, the band told the Miami crowd, “Thanks a lot. It’s great to know that rock music still has a place at MTV, and thanks a lot to our record company Reprise, Tom. We want to thank Sam Baird, great job, congratulations on winning also, and who else? Thank you. You guys. The fans, thank you.”
