Green Day Win Viewer’s Choice Award

Green Day took home the Viewer’s Choice Award at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards for ‘American Idiot’. Upon accepting the honor, the band told the Miami crowd, “Man, that is hot! I don’t know, I guess this one we real very to thank all the viewers. Once again, we’ve just got to thank Sam Bayer and his crew because they work so extremely hard and, I don’t know, you guys rule. Thank you. I just want to say thanks a lot to — I want to say thanks a lot to A.D. And Joey and Jacob and to our band members, high to Jason White, Jason Freeze, Ronnie Blake, thanks to you guys in the best band, thank you very much. Thanks to all of our fans. Thank you very much.”
