Green Day Eclipses Blink 182 At Oakland Tour Stop

Neva Chonin of the San Francisco Chronicle reviewed the Pop Disaster Tour stop in Oakland on Sunday, saying Blink-182 was “eclipsed by .” Chonin said, “Blink-182 closed the night because it’s a fresh, though hardly inspired, band selling albums by the millions; is less platinum-plated these days, but broke ground for Blink and others by taking punk-pop to the top of the charts in the ’90s.
