Gorillaz Animation Skipped On Expensive Production

Isaac Guzman of the New York Daily News was on hand at Thursday’s concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Guzman says while the music sounded fine, the animation was the weak point. Isaac explained, “In animation, even the simplest clips can be exorbitantly expensive and time-consuming to produce. Gorillaz clearly skimped on this element, playing and replaying images of marauding gorillas, a guitar-strumming Noodles and the vaguely menacing Murdoc.” The full article at nydailynews.com has since been removed or relocated.
