Godsmack Like Chances In Wednesday’s Grammys

Launch.com spoke with Godsmack frontman Sully Erna who thinks the band has a good chance of picking up a Grammy award Wednesday in the band’s nominated category of best rock instrumental. Since the guys are up against some old time acts, they may have an advantage: “We’re up against good people–Jeff Beck, and the Allman Brothers, and Steve Vai, and Joe Satriani. But out of all those bands, we’re probably the most current rock band. So, I think it’s in a way kind of cool. Maybe if we were up for best new single or something, we could’ve been up against Destiny’s Child or Janet Jackson or whatever and not even had a shot at it.”
