Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst explains the beef he created with Metallica after their Napster tour is in the past, and he talked about how the band was approached for Summer Sanitarium 2003 with the heavy metal group. “Lars [Ulrich] called me at home and asked me if I wanted to go on tour with them and I was like, ‘Whoa that’s wild,'” Durst told Launch.com. “I didn’t really take it to heart. I thought that’s pretty cool that he called and asked, because me and him have been through some stuff before, and we’ve been cool for a long time. We talked about our thing with Napster a long time ago. But, I was just like, ‘Wow man, whoa,’ It’s an honor that they ask me to play, but it’s so different. We’re so different.”
