Fred Durst And Limp Bizkit Ripped By USA Today Writer
USA Today music writer Edna Gundersen was asked about the backlash Limp Bizkit and their frontman Fred Durst have received, and why everyone is down on the group and their latest album ‘Results May Vary’. She responded, “This critic ripped the music not out of dislike for Fred Durst but out of utter boredom and disgust with the new songs. You’re right. Limp Bizkit was a huge influence in the rap-rock movement and whipped up a rabid and widespread following in the midst of a teen-pop tsunami. Nonetheless, the sound was always limited and juvenile, and I’ve yet to see any significant growth or maturity. So, thumbs down from me.” Check out the entire chat transcript here.
