Dan Aquilante of the New York Post reviewed the concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Wednesday. “Everyone at the ballroom – from those who were packed tightly together on the floor, to those in upper decks of the theater – worked their dancing bone to the beat-happy music,” Aquilante wrote. “During the 20-song set the quartet often folded into fine grooves, but there was a looseness to the music that lent it the impression the band was jamming and would never be able to play any of the songs the same way again.” The full review at has since been removed.
