Foo Fighters Let The Music Do The Talking
Michael D. Clark of the Houston Chronicle reviewed the Foo Fighters concert at the Reliant Arena last month. Clark writes, “Armed with a full-metal jacket of tracks from their latest album, ‘One by One’, guitarist-vocalist [Dave Grohl], guitarist Chris Shiflett, bassist Nate Mendel and drummer Taylor Hawkins transferred the loose, garage-rock core of the album right to the stage. Like a ballplayer wrenching himself from a slump, the group stopped over-thinking technique (a tendency that haunted its over-produced last album, ‘There Is Nothing Left to Lose’) and is now simply playing.” Read more.
