Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea wrote in his online journal that opening band Mars Volta is the best opener the Peppers have ever had. “The Mars Volta has been just amazing,” Flea said. “It is so inspiring to see them every night. They are the best band we have ever played with, without a doubt they are scintillating. They are stunning, they blow me away.”
