Filter Frontman Backs Off Chicago Diss

frontman Richard Patrick pulled his official site diary entry on Sunday that stated, “We played to a sold out concert in Chicago at the Ronald McDonald House of Burger King Blues, complete with a packed crowd and a willingness to piss off the local critics. Except for the fans, that town has never given us any respect, and at this point I don’t even care. So we took a sh** in the dressing room and moved on to Detroit.” Patrick must’ve felt the heat as the message not only was removed, but he said on Tuesday, “Oh and I was just kidding about the House of Blues stuff a couple days ago, I love playing that place, it was awesome we had a great time in Chicago and we want to thank everyone involved for making it so cool.”
