Filter Fans Raise Money For Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

and Army of Anyone frontman Richard Patrick has posted the following message on the Filter web site: “I’d like to congratulate my sister Cheri for completing her first marathon this past weekend. She ran the 2006 Los Angeles Marathon as a member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s team in training. Although she was feeling under the weather, she continued on and completed the 26.2-mile race in 5 hours and 29 minutes. She was 10,654th out of 25,000 people, and came in 3,033rd out of all women. I’m proud to report that many of you here at the Filter website were very generous in helping Cheri raise money for a good ’cause, and for that I am grateful! My sister would also like to thank each of you personally: ‘Thanks FILTER FANS YOU ROCK!!!!! With your help, I was able to raise $4,090. Thanks so much for your donation and support!!!”
