On Thursday night Radio 1 brought listeners a summer festival preview special, featuring interviews with Maxi Jazz from Faithless who talked about performing at Homelands and One Big Weekend; Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day, who talked about being in the studio and headlining Reading & Leeds, Nikolai Fraiture from The Strokes, who talked about touring and headlining V; Corey Taylor from Slipknot, who talked about the new record and playing Reading & Leeds, and Ian Watkins from LostProphets, who talked about breaking the US and playing Reading & Leeds.
