Fair to Midland bassist Jon Dicken spoke with the Examiner in a Q&A, talking about the band’s sound, progress on a new album, adapting to a recording studio and bringing together the group’s diverse influences. “It makes for a very interesting writing process,” Dicken said about the latter topic. “I’m into country and blues, Matt [Langley] is into progressive rock, Darroh [Sudderth] – I’m not sure what he likes.
