Fair To Midland Apologize For Missing Hometown Show

Fair to Midland

posted the following update to fans on their Myspace on Tuesday (July 3):

Hey everyone

As you may or may not have heard, we weren’t able to play our show in Dallas last night with 69 Eyes at the House of Blues. The reasons why were more than we can count, but were mainly due to our RV breaking down permanently in Arizona yesterday, stranding our sound guy with ALL of our gear, and then having three of our band members stranded all day in El Paso (where we’d played a show on Sunday), while every single flight to Dallas they were scheduled to be on was canceled one by one, due to shi**y weather. As a result, the whole band was physically unable to arrive in Dallas on time to make it to the House of Blues in time to make our set time.

So the whole day was a fiasco, with multiple things spiraling out of our control, and we feel really terrible about missing a gig in our home town, with tons of our fans waiting to see us. However, the good news out of all of this is that we are already working on setting up a makeup show as soon as possible, so stay tuned here; we’ll send out updates as soon as we have more news… Also, if you bought tickets for last night’s show to see us, PLEASE SAVE YOUR TICKET STUBS (or receipts)!

Thanks to everyone in Dallas for sticking by us as you always have….we love you and can’t wait to come back and play for all of you as soon as we can.

Take care and be back soon, we promise!
