Ex Engrave & Brainstorm Guitarist Murdered During Thanksgiving Dinner Argument

The Los Angeles Times and MTV News reports former Engrave and Brainstorm guitarist Mario Gutierrez died late last week of gunshot wounds sustained during an argument with his brother-in-law. Gutierrez, 37, was shot in El Sereno, California at about 10:45 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day (November 22) and died at the scene. LAPD Hollenbeck detectives said that Gutierrez and his brother-in-law got into an argument during the family’s Thanksgiving gathering over a remark the brother-in-law had made about Gutierrez’s wife.
