A source revealed to Star magazine that in late January, Heather Locklear, 44, intercepted a steamy, X-rated e-mail to 46-year-old Richie Sambora, delivered by his leggy, brunette former assistant Stephanie Heaton. “Heather couldn’t believe what she was seeing,” says a friend of the actress, who adds that the shocking discovery led directly to the divorce filing. “It completely blew their marriage out of the water.”
