Even With Laryngitis, Manson Stronger Than Most Pop Acts
Theresa Cano of the Arizona Central reviewed the Garbage show at Mesa Amphitheater on Wednesday night, and couldn’t stop in her praise of singer Shirley Manson. “Manson, clad in a skin tight, sheer white tank top and blue and gray camouflage pants, was oozing as much sensuality as she was toughness,” Cano gushed. “She spent much of the night prowling around the stage, punching in the air much like a boxer would before a fight to loosen up. Manson’s voice, even though not in top form thanks to a bout with laryngitis, was still stronger and more dynamic than most current pop acts on a good day.”
