Evanescence Begin Writing First Album Without Ben Moody
MTV News spoke with Evanescence singer Amy Lee at the American Music Awards, where she indicated that Ben Moody’s departure from the group appears to be permanent. “I actually haven’t had any contact with him at all,” Lee said. “But I hear he’s way happier, and I know we all are, so it’s for the best. It was just kind of an unhealthy situation for everybody. Everyone was really unhappy. I think it was just time to evolve.” Read more.
