Entertainment Weekly spoke with Godsmack lead singer Sully Erna about his work on ‘The Scorpion King’ soundtrack and asked about how becoming a father has effected his music. Erna said, “It’s been awesome. I love this girl so much I’d drink her drool. But I don’t want to tie her — or, for that matter, my religion — to my music. My music is my therapy, where I vent all the bullsh** that bunches up inside of me. I may not always write when I’m miserable, but I’m not about to pull a Creed and write a ‘With Arms Wide Open.’ That’s showing off.” The full story at EW.com has since been removed.
