Epic Appears To Be Fighting Back On Rage/Cornell Leak

After downloading several tracks of the Rage Against the Machine and project only to find 40 seconds of actual song intertwined with 3-4 minutes of dead air, one can assume Epic Records is being proactive by distributing ‘fake’ tracks to combate the file sharing of the new album, a tactic that Interscope used in the weeks ahead of accidental leak of ‘The Eminem Show’. Be aware of this tactic if you’re downloading the tracks.
