Electric Six have been telling Radio 1 they can’t wait to play Leeds and Reading this weekend. “The catering, and making contact with the people,” frontman Dick Valentine explained of the reasons they’re looking forward to the gigs. “You go out there, you actually make contact with the people. It’s kind of hard to do that when you’re floating in the Gulf of Tonkin. We typically hang out with celebrities, exclusively, they’re very rich and they’re very good looking.”
